During the procurement planning process Solar Thin Films may help in the preparation of a detailed business plan and financial analysis - see Economic Considerations. As part of this STF can will provide generic information regarding costs and competition as well as project planning and procurement, from which the profitability of the venture can be estimated, and a facilities and manning schedule developed. For a fee STF can provide more detailed information or participate in formulation of a business plan. After the "turnkey" thin-film PV factory has been constructed, delivered and has passed a performance test, STF can provide on-going management and operational support for the client for a fee.

From concept study and procurement through manufacture and installation and to final commissioning, STF supports the customer in the construction of its PV thin-film production facilities. Whether completely new, an extension or a conversion, a flexible single package can be prepared and delivered for each specific application from our wide range of services.

As part of its standard offering STF will:

• Manufacture, ship and install equipment necessary for the production of amorphous silicon photovoltaic modules - with certain specified equipment to be procured directly by the customer.
• Provide training to operations, maintenance and supervisory staff.
• Provide a full set of operational manuals, training manuals and maintenance manuals and scheduled.
• Assume responsibility for manufacturing start-up and passage of a performance test in which various metrics for throughput, efficiency and visual characteristics are tested.
• Provide a warranty service for a stated period of time.
